Detroit Metal City (DMC) is a renowned death metal band that has gained popularity for its distinctive dark and crude style. The lead singer of the band, Johannes Krauser II, is portrayed as a demonic being who rose from hell to rule over mortals. However, it's not widely known that Krauser II is actually an average college graduate named Souichi Negishi. Despite his peaceful nature and preference for Swedish pop music, Negishi must participate in DMC's extravagant concerts to make a living. The show follows the humorous adventures of Negishi as he balances his band life with romance and dealing with his devoted fans.
