Rud is a member of the Hero's Party known for his exceptional defense capabilities. He embarks on labyrinth raids with his party but views them as more than just missions. His primary motivation is to find the treasure that can cure his sister's illness, which he believes may be hidden in these labyrinths. However, after an unsuccessful raid attempt, the arrogant hero kicks him out of the party, accusing him of incompetence. Left with no other options, Rud returns home where his sister awaits him. On his journey, he saves a girl from a monster attack and discovers that she possesses an extremely rare skill called "Appraisal." With her help, he uncovers his own powerful skills, which include a 9999 defense rating. Thus begins the adventure of the strongest tank, Rud!
