Ajiyoshi Yoichi is a talented chef who runs an eating establishment with his mother. One day, Murata Genjiro visits the restaurant and is impressed by the exquisite taste and refined cooking techniques of the katsu-don prepared by Youichi. This leads to an invitation for Youichi to participate in a spaghetti competition at the Aji-oh Building, where he faces off against Marui, the in-house Italian chef. Despite being new to the culinary world, Youichi's innovative ideas and passion for providing the best dining experience allow him to emerge victorious over Marui. From that point onwards, Youichi continues to compete with other chefs in search of the ultimate taste and dish.
