The manga adaptation of Baku Yumemakuras supernatural romance novel has been adapted by Takashi Noguchi. This manga, in turn, tells the story of Minamoto no Yoshitsune (Kurou), who flees to the mountains after losing to his brother, the first Shogun of Japan. Despite historical records stating that Kurou committed suicide, he actually meets a beautiful woman named Kuromitsu in her mountain hermitage and falls in love with her. However, Kuromitsu harbors a dark secret - Kurou is unable to die and must live for a thousand years as Japan transforms into a futuristic society.
