Masaru, despite being close to graduating from technical college, has yet to secure employment. His only source of enjoyment is visiting "Hidamari," a café owned by his childhood friends Nanami and Kurumi's parents, where he frequently spends time. One day, while at the café, Masaru learns that another childhood friend will be returning to their hometown soon. Excitedly, Masaru expresses his desire to meet her as soon as possible. In response, Nanami and Kurumi approach him in a completely different manner than they ever have before.
