The anime series "Tamagotchi" centers on the lives of Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi, ChaMametchi, and their friends. It was first released in Japan in December 2007, followed by an English dub in December 2008. The series was uploaded a week before the release of the first movie in Japanese.
