In this realm, there is the notion of tiers. Besides individuals who derive their livelihood from vanquishing beasts, most people fall within Tiers 1 to 5. It is not open to everyone to embark on monster-hunting expeditions; it is heavily influenced by one's divine-appointed role. There are eight such roles bestowed by deity: Warriors, Fighters, Clerics, Magicians, Rogues, Merchants, Hunters, Sorcerers. Those endowed with extraordinary abilities are classified into three categories: Royalty, Heroes, Sages. However, for the majority of the population, they lack such powers and subsist through farming or running businesses. Communities are developed by those with weaker roles...Villagers. For powerless Villagers, venturing out to slay monsters is tantamount to self-destruction. Yet, one day, a two-year-old child assigned the role of Villager discovers something intriguing. Upon vanquishing a beast, one can amass substantial riches.
