Reiji is a private detective who receives an unusual request from a girl asking him to find her. Meanwhile, there are several gruesome murder cases happening and he's offered to investigate them as well. The school Yukari attends has two missing female students, and the vice principal Tokio asks Reiji to search for them. As a result of this, Reiji receives three offers simultaneously. To gather information, he disguises himself and meets Toko, who had previously asked him to look for her before. She greets him with "Hi, nice to see you again, sir." Despite the tragic circumstances, it seems that hope might come from a girl's smile.
