A small village situated deep within a dense forest serves as the setting for five children's summer holiday. Initially, they relish their carefree days surrounded by unspoiled nature, far removed from adult supervision. However, their tranquil existence is disrupted when they stumble upon what they believe to be a small dog in need of assistance. Upon closer inspection, the creature turns out to be an alien on a crucial mission. The alien, known as Pochi, had nearly discovered a highly sought-after substance on Earth but was badly injured during a fight and was forced to abandon his quest. Thanks to the children's help, Pochi recovers and expresses gratitude by asking them where they would most like to travel. Their response is immediate: "As far as possible!" Pochi suggests they begin their journey on the moon, and so, the alien transports the kids to a nearby satellite. This marks the start of an incredible adventure. As they explore new worlds, they discover that the coveted substance is also integral to Japanese cuisine. Incidentally, one of the children happens to possess this mysterious substance in their pocket.
