Gakuen Mokushiroku: High School of the Dead

Suddenly, without warning, Japan was thrown into complete disarray as the dead began to rise. Takashi Kimuro witnessed this firsthand when his best friend was bitten and became one of the walking dead. Forced to make a difficult decision, he killed him in order to protect Rei Miyamoto, the girlfriend of the man he had just executed. As they narrowly escaped their own death trap at school, they found themselves in a world that had already succumbed to chaos.
Determined to find their loved ones and uncover the cause of this pandemic, Takashi, Rei, Saeko Busujima (the president of the Kendo Club), Kouta Hirano (an otaku with a passion for firearms), Saya Takagi (daughter of an influential politician), and Shizuka Marikawa (their hot school nurse) joined forces on their journey. Together, they hoped to overcome this undead apocalypse.
