Supermarkets are crucial establishments in cities because they offer a convenient way to buy various foods in a safe and family-friendly environment. However, these stores undergo significant changes when unsold bento boxes go on sale at half price during the night. As soon as this happens, conflict erupts among individuals fighting for honor, pride, and dinner. There are no people left in supermarkets except wolves and dogs-winners and losers. High schooler You Satou is unknowingly drawn into these battles but instead of avoiding them, he wants to join in. Despite his lack of fighting skills, upperclassman Sen Yarizui invites him and Hana Oshiroi, who enjoys watching the fights, to become members of her Half-Priced Food Lovers Club. Through this club, they learn about the differences between dogs and wolves and how to fight for their food.
