Eventually, civilization came to a halt. Now, genetically modified plants dominate the Earth's landscape, impeding travelers. The leader of a fortress city, Cient, embarks on an expedition with his daughter Ruri to recover the lost technology "Patia." While exploring, Ruri becomes separated from her father. Suddenly, an ancient humanoid weapon attacks her. However, she is rescued by Tekuni, a young girl who travels the world honing her skills as a Wazabito fighter.
