During a summer evening while testing out his camera on a bridge, Kaito Kirishima witnesses a blue light streaking across the sky before being blown off the railing seconds later. Before fainting, he feels a hand grabbing him from below. Upon waking up the next morning, Kaito is unsure of how he ended up back in his own room with no injuries or memories of the previous night. As they continue with their daily routine at school, Kaito and his friends discuss what to do with his camera and eventually decide to make a film over their upcoming summer break. Tetsurou Ishigaki invites Ichika Takatsuki and her friend Remon Yamano to join them in the project. The ensuing summer turns out to be one of excitement and enjoyment as Kaito and his friends discover that their time together is about more than just creating a film; it's also an opportunity for self-discovery and confrontation of deep emotions.
