A high school student named yoshiharu sagara wakes up to find himself in the midst of a battle during the sengoku period. he is saved by hideyoshi toyotomi, but at great cost. with his last breath, the warrior begs yoshiharu to become a feudal lord instead. now that history has been altered, yoshiharu pledges to prevent any further changes. after rescuing nobuna oda, whom he discovers is actually nobunaga odas female counterpart, yoshiharu realizes he's in an alternate reality where most of japans historical warlords are now cute girls. to set things right and find a way back home, yoshiharu agrees to become one of nobunas retainers and assist her in conquering japan. using the knowledge gained from playing "nobunagas ambition," yoshiharu predicts future events and turns the tide of war to help his new lord fulfill her dream and win over women everywhere.
