Makoto Kubota lived his life carefree, without taking things too seriously or delving deeply into himself. His job as head of Izumo Groups youth gang kept him busy with yakuza battles, mahjong games and assassinations. However, everything changed when he discovered a strange drug called Wild Adapter that caused unusual side-effects, including death. Transformed by this encounter, Kubota found himself drawn to an enigmatic drifter named Minoru Tokito, forming an unlikely bond that led them further into the mystery surrounding Wild Adapter.
