In a future not too far away, humans have completed an orbital elevator and started developing the outer planets. Suddenly, an unknown alien enemy called Obliquus appears in our solar system, leading to war with the first extraterrestrial beings we've encountered. To combat their advanced technology, the Khronos Foundation combines the descendants of famous heroes from various countries, such as Japan's Musashi Miyamoto and Ryōma Sakamoto, France's Napoleon and Joan of Arc, into "Khronos Gear" - powerful biological weapons embedded in specialized battle suits.
