When Aoi Yukimura was a child, she loved mountains and enjoyed climbing. However, an accident in the playground caused her fear of heights, leading her to pursue indoor hobbies. As a result, she became shy and introverted, making it difficult for her to socialize with others and make friends. That is until she met Hinata Kuraue, an old friend from her climbing days, who encouraged Aoi to join her in various climbing activities despite her initial reluctance. With time spent with Hinata, Aoi was reminded of the joy she experienced during their childhood and decided to rekindle her passion for climbing. This newfound interest helped her break out of her shell, gain confidence, take on challenges, and make friends.
