Usagi Tsukino is a typical 14-year-old girl in her second year of junior high. However, after an encounter with Luna, a mysterious talking black cat whose head bears the mark of a crescent moon, she receives a magical brooch that transforms her into Sailor Moon, a magical girl in a sailor uniform who protects love and peace. As a guardian of justice, Usagi is tasked with finding the legendary Silver Crystal, a powerful artifact, as well as locating other Sailor Guardians and the lost princess of Luna's home, the Moon Kingdom. Despite facing opposition from Queen Beryl, ruler of the Dark Kingdom, who seeks to claim the Silver Crystal for her own, Usagi must balance her school, family, and love life while saving the day with Sailor Moon and other Sailor Guardians.

The anime was streamed on every first and third Saturday of the month, starting on July 5, 2014. Regular TV broadcast begun in Spring 2015.
