Kasuga takao is a student who enjoys reading books, especially baudelaire's les fleurs du mal. at school, he has a muse named saeki nanako, whom he admires from afar. one day, while forgetting his copy of the book in class, he goes back alone to retrieve it and finds not only his book but also saeki's gym uniform. in a moment of impulse, he steals it. the theft leads to rumors that someone stole saeki's uniform, causing kasuga great shame and guilt. additionally, the creepy and friendless girl in class, nakamura, witnessed the act and recognizes his kindred deviant spirit. instead of revealing him as the thief, she uses her knowledge to manipulate his life. despite nakamuras interference and his dark secret, can kasuga get closer to saeki? what does nakamura intend to do with him?
