The short film "Gikku no Kodomo" is only available at the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. It's a nine-minute adaptation of a picture book by Rieko Nakagawa and Yuriko Yamawaki, who have previously created two books that inspired Ghibli shorts (Sora Iro no Tane, The Whale Hunt). In this story, we meet Yuuji, a young boy, and his rabbit friend, Gikku. They find a stick at the same time and decide to compete in various games to determine who gets to keep it. Whether they try running, jumping, or wrestling, they always end up in a tie.
