Kiri Haimura has an unusual fascination with cutting hair, particularly that of long-haired individuals. Driven by his obsession, he searches for a legendary ghost rumored to reside in an abandoned house on top of a hill. However, instead of encountering a supernatural entity, he discovers a stunning young woman named Iwai Mushanokouji, the "Hair Queen," whose hair cannot be cut due to her family's curse. Iwai reveals that she is involved in a deadly game where if she is killed by a cursed object known as a "Killing Good," the wielder will have their wish granted. Kiri learns that his own family possesses such an artifact: a pair of scissors used by one of his ancestors to commit murder. Renaming these tools "The Severing Crime Edge," he discovers they can cut Iwai's cursed hair, freeing her from the deadly game. However, many individuals are after Iwai as she is considered a prime target for those seeking to claim their wish through the use of a Killing Good. Kiri must now protect her in this perilous battle of fate and destiny.
