William, a member of an aristocratic family with exceptional intellect, returns home after his uncle's business fails, fearing damage to their reputation. With assistance from his butler, he searches for anything that can be converted into cash. During this search, they discover an underground room left by an ancestor. Inside the room is a magical seal, which William accidentally summons a devil. The demon reveals itself as Dantalion and informs him that he is the designated individual who has the power to choose the ruling authority of the demon realm.
Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist was licensed as Devils and Realist for an English release by Sentai Filmworks. It was released on March 3rd, 2015 on both DVD and Blu Ray. It is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, Hulu and Sentai Filmworks official anime streaming site, The Anime Network.
