A humorous and enigmatic tale revolving around harumi kazuhito, a high school student with a passion for literature and an admiration for author natsuno kirihime. one fateful day, while at a cafe, he stumbles upon kirihime in the midst of writing when she is about to be robbed. despite being killed himself, kazuhito manages to protect her. posthumously, through the power of a bookworm, he reincarnates as a dachshund dog, leading a painful existence devoid of literature. however, his luck takes a turn when kirihime appears before him, carrying scissors and offering assistance. it turns out that she is the same woman who had attempted to rob him earlier, but with an evil twist - she is now using her powers for sadistic purposes.

Episode 1 was previewed at a screening in Akihabara UDX, Tokyo on June 30, 2013. Regular broadcasting began on July 2, 2013.
