In the year 2055, four years after the events in Danball Senki W, LBXs have become a global phenomenon, leading to professional leagues and individuals making their living as LBX players. A fourteen-year-old named Arata is new at Kamui Daimon Integrated Academy on Kamui Island near Japan. This institution is renowned worldwide for producing top-notch LBX players and mechanics. To gain admission, one must first become the champion of three official tournaments. Along with his platoon members, Arata faces competition and uncovers hidden secrets within the academy.
