The majority of citizens would describe civil servants as frustrating, insufficient, and irritating. however, three new employees - lucy yamagami, yutaka hasebe, and saya miyoshi - are about to discover the reality behind the scenes. despite being bent on revenge against a civil servant who put her long name on her birth certificate, lucy is determined to do her best. easygoing yutaka is always looking for ways to relax, while nervous first-time worker saya is eager to learn and grow. their trainer, taishi ichimiya, has been working there for eight years but lacks the skills necessary to train them effectively. with an incompetent senior colleague and difficult interactions with clients, the trio begins to question their career choice but encourages each other to persevere.
