In accordance with a manga series penned by Ichikawa Haruko, which is published in Afternoon, there emerges a new species known as Houseki. These 28 gems possess distinct roles such as fighters and healers to safeguard themselves from the Tsukijin who wish to exploit them for decorative purposes. Despite her aspiration to combat extraterrestrial beings, Phos is initially assigned no task until Kongo, the manager of the gems, instructs her to edit a natural history magazine. A promotional video was released on YouTube in celebration of the manga's first volume release.
