The anime "No Game No Life" is a surreal comedy that follows Sora and Shiro, two siblings who are shut-ins and avid online gamers with the username "Blank." They see the real world as just another game to be played; however, they receive an e-mail challenging them to a chess match. This leads them to Disboard, a realm where all conflicts are settled through high-stakes games based on wagering what is deemed of equal value by both parties. In this strange new world where the concept of humanity is reduced to child's play, Sora and Shiro must unite the sixteen races of Disboard, defeat Tet, the God of Games, and become the gods themselves in order to find a real reason to keep playing games.

No Game No Life adapts the first three volumes of Yuu Kamiyas light novel series of the same title.
