"Team Z" is a new group of Toei robot girls who are based on characters from the Mazinger Z franchise. They consist of three members, including Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and UFO Robot Grendizer. Typically, they engage in activities within Nerima ward in Tokyo to promote awareness about "Photon Power," a promising new energy source. However, there are instances where the "Mechanical Beast" team of girls emerges from the "Subterranean Empire" and attempts to steal this energy. In such cases, "Team Z" must battle them to prevent theft. Sometimes, they also engage in physical combat with these "bad girls" simply to relieve stress. Despite being only three episodes long, each episode consists of nine parts for a total runtime of 27 minutes per airing on MAL.
