In medieval France during the Hundred Years War against England, Maria is a potent young witch who resides with two companions. As the conflict intensifies and more innocent people are caught in its path, Maria grows disillusioned with the situation and decides to employ her magic to try and prevent any further bloodshed, hoping to preserve peace. However, her persistent attempts to interfere soon draw the attention of the divine realm, prompting the archangel Michael to intervene and forbid her from meddling in human affairs. He imposes a decree that if Maria loses her virginity, her magic will be taken away. Despite being labeled as a heretic, Maria persists in disrupting the war between England and France. But with the Church preparing to strip her of her powers and put an end to her interference once and for all, Maria's efforts to maintain peace may soon come to a halt.
Episode 1 was previewed at Bandai Channel on January 4, 2015. Regular broadcasting began on January 11, 2015.
