Nobunaga the Fool

In ancient times, two planets were connected by a chain known as the Dragon Stream. However, this connection has now been severed and the two halves are at war with each other. The Eastern Country of Owari's heir is Nobunaga the Fool, who is seen as carefree and foolish by many, including his own father. On the Western Planet, a girl named Jeanne Kaguya dArc has visions of a "Savior-King." Accompanied by Leonardo da Vinci, she journeys to the Eastern Planet in search of this person. During their journey, they encounter powerful mecha and are saved by Nobunaga, who takes control of Leonardo's mecha with the intention of warning his family about an impending siege. Jeanne suspects that Nobunaga might be the Savior-King she has envisioned.
Episode 1 was previewed at a screening at Shinjuku Milano 1 in Tokyo on December 26, 2013. Regular broadcasting began January 6, 2014.
