On one occasion, extraterrestrial beings with the intention of conquering Earth launched an attack on Tokyo. Momoko, who has dreams of becoming an idol, unintentionally became involved in the resulting conflict. Warudemon, ruler of the alien empire, employed numerous strategies to track down Momoko and those near her. In response, Momoko resolved to confront this hostility. The original Wonder Momo was a 1987 arcade game that featured a side-scrolling beat 'em up gameplay with a transforming heroine.
