Tenkai Knight

In ancient times, a planet called Quarton existed. It was inhabited by beings known as Tenkai, who had the ability to transform into different shapes. Two factions emerged on this planet, the Corekai and the Corrupted, led by a ruthless warlord named Vilius. He sought control of the source of Tenkai Energy for his own purposes. The only ones strong enough to defeat him were the Tenkai Knights: Bravenwolf, Tributon, Valorn, and Lydendor. After being defeated, Vilius unleashed a powerful dragon known as the Tenkai Dragon, which was later defeated by the four knights. However, fragments of the dragon were scattered across the planet.
In 2034 on Earth, four teenagers named Guren, Ceylan, Toxsa, and Chooki discovered an interdimensional portal to Quarton. They were chosen by the Guardians to become the new generation of Tenkai Knights and prevent Vilius from taking control of both worlds.
Tenkai Knights is an original Canadian-Japanese anime series that officially aired in Cartoon Network in the United States on August 24, 2013 and in Canada on Teletoon on September 28, 2013. The anime premiered a year after in Japan on TV Tokyo. The purpose of the anime’s creation was the promotion of Spin Masters line of Ionix construction bricks. Spin Master is a Canadian toy and entertainment company which started producing and promoting The Tenkai Knights toy line along with a new Pokémon line. The anime was adapted into a video game for Nintendo 3DS.
