In Animal Town, people and animals live together peacefully. Iroha Inukai, a second-year junior high school student, has a dog named Komugi as her best friend. During a walk one day, they come across Garugaru, a mysterious creature that causes chaos in the city. Suddenly, Komugi transforms into Cure Wonderful, a Pretty Cure, to safeguard Iroha.
