Sword Gai The Animation

When humanity was unable to receive answers from their gods during a time of great need, they turned to a demon instead. This demon, known as Zsoltgewinn, arrived with the sword that would supposedly save them. However, Zsoltgewinn's insatiable thirst for blood led it to kill those who summoned it. Despite being sealed away long ago, Zsoltgewinn was recently discovered by an organization called Shoshidai, which collects cursed artifacts. Unfortunately, when the sword came into contact with a human administrator named Takuma Miura, its corruptive power caused him to flee with it in his grasp. Meanwhile, Gai Ogata's family suffered greatly due to another demonic sword called Shiryu. His father was murdered and his mother hung herself shortly after giving birth to him. Abandoned in the forest clutching the blade, he was discovered by a blacksmith named Amon. Driven by an unnatural fascination with the sword, Gai worked tirelessly for years to hone his smithing skills. However, an accident cost him his arm, and it was replaced with a reforged version of Shiryu. Now armed with a cursed sword as his arm, Gai must learn to control its violent urges. While all this is happening, Zsoltgewinn continues on its destructive path, leaving a trail of blood in its wake.
