The Sakurada family, including their father who is also known as the king, resides in a typical Japanese household. Each of the siblings possesses unique abilities and there are over two thousand security cameras placed around town to ensure their safety. All nine members of the royal family have been designated potential successors to the throne with the decision that the next ruler will be chosen through an election. However, for Akane Sakurada, who is the third eldest daughter and has the ability to manipulate gravity, all this attention is overwhelming. With cameras constantly monitoring the candidates and broadcasting their actions on a dedicated news channel, she decides that if she becomes king, she would remove them. But how can she convince the public that she is the most qualified to rule when she struggles with her own shyness? Election season has begun in Joukamachi no Dandelion as the search for the next king continues.
