In the fast-paced world of voice acting, Futaba Ichinose, an aspiring professional, frantically searches for auditions and performance sessions to become a top-tier talent. She rubs elbows with famous names in the industry while trying to find her own unique style. Alongside two important allies, Ichigo Moesaki, who claims to be from another planet, and Rin Kohana, a child actress juggling school and career, they navigate the ups and downs of the entertainment industry. However, Futaba's performance assessment at her agency is imminent, which could potentially end her career before it even begins! Sore ga Seiyuu! is an amusing and heartfelt portrayal of the voice acting industry that brings anime to life with its talented cast.
Sore ga Seiyuu was created by an actual voice actress, who makes a cameo appearance in the anime. A number of other well known Japanese voice acting talent appear in the series under their own names, with each episode featuring one special guest seiyuu.
