Kumi to Tulip

In this world, there are shining skyscrapers and robots that support everything. A little girl named Kumi lives in such a place. Her playground is located near one of these towering structures, featuring an artificial water fountain, digital plants, and even digital butterflies. While playing, she encounters an elderly man who comes to the park every day to paint the synthetic flowers. The old man shares with Kumi that he once discovered a "breathing" tulip growing among the artificial flora, and they both agree to keep watch over it as it develops.
