It seems like Giulio is trying to help his father by addressing envelopes at night when he's not working on his second job. However, he struggles with staying awake during the day, which causes problems for both him and his family. He also feels guilty about burdening his father with his low grades and overworking himself, which has led to health issues. Despite this, Giulio decides that his love for his father is more important than their relationship being strained. Unfortunately, one night the cat knocks over the address book and wakes up his father, revealing Giulio's secret. As a result, Giulio's father falls to tears upon discovering this information.
