In Gift's world, there exists a rare crystalline material known as Giftium. This substance is highly sought after and can be found in the planet's core. Sougo Amagi, a young boy living on Gift, inherited his interest in this material from his mother, who was a researcher. As a resident of Garden Indigo, a prosperous mining community, Sougo has access to many rare crystals that are exclusive to the area. However, what excites him most is not a crystal but a person - Felia, an enigmatic girl with red eyes and blue hair, who emerges from a large crystal during a school quarrel. Through this encounter, Sougo and Felia form a bond of friendship. But Felia is being pursued by a secret organization that aims to exploit her powers for their own gain. As a result, Sougo and his friends must assist her in evading these dangers while uncovering the true nature of this mysterious girl from the crystal.
Episodes 1 and 2 were previewed at a screening at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on October 3, 2015. Regular broadcasting began on October 4, 2015.
