The narrative revolves around a group of five individuals living in a world where individuals have vanished without explanation. An enigmatic figure, who claims to be an "Emperor," recruits these five people through secret messages and requires them to engage in a game. During the game, participants are asked the question "Do you want to live or die?" The only rule governing this game is that if the majority of participants choose death, everyone involved will perish.
