The Sushi Police are an elite unit tasked with identifying restaurants serving illicit or non-traditional sushi and eliminating them, regardless of the severity of their offense. They operate globally and have a strong sense of justice, backed by the World Food-Culture Conservation Organization. No one can escape their wrath if they violate Japan's traditional cuisine.
During one of their missions, they encounter Sara, a young television reporter who aims to expose them and the organization for corruption. Despite being interrogated, her skills, charm, and wit allow her to evade capture, setting off a chain of events that will ultimately reveal the true purpose of the Sushi Police.
Sushi Police is named after the term coined by the Washington Post for the officials that inspect overseas Japanese restaurants to make sure that they are serving "real" Japanese food.
