In the early 21st century, a research institute was founded in Japan by the United Nations to investigate an ancient artifact discovered during the construction of the Kurobe Dam. Scientists from all over the world are studying this object at the facility while their children attend Mt. Tate International Senior High School. Yukina Shirahane, whose father is the head scientist, solves part of the puzzle while visiting her mother at the institute. To her astonishment, she encounters Kennosuke Tokisada Ouma, a young samurai from the Sengoku era. As an extraterrestrial threat looms over Earth, Yukina and Kennosuke join forces to protect our planet. During their journey, they uncover the enigma behind Kennosuke's relentless pursuit of protecting Yukina.
