The Gainax animation studio, located in Fukushima, is currently working on a project that will showcase the recovery efforts made by the prefecture since the 2011 Touhoku earthquake and tsunami, as well as highlighting the aftermath of the disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
