For high school students like Shouichi Kamita, university entrance exams and the future are common concerns. Additionally, during this time in life, a mysterious emotion that affects individuals of all ages may begin to emerge - love. At present, Shouichi is faced with three girls who he could envision having a future with: Hikari Tsuneki, a cheerful individual who teases him relentlessly but has a softer side; Tooru Miyamae, a competitive gamer with difficulty communicating with others; and Kyouko Touno, Shouichi's childhood friend who is sometimes immature and passionate about shoujo manga. Seiren chronicles Shouichi's relationships with these three girls across three separate arcs as their feelings progress from mutual interest to something more profound.
