During the summer season, Norimichi Shimada and his companions were intrigued by whether fireworks appeared round or flat when viewed from the side. In order to resolve this issue, they devised a plan to attend Moshimo Festivals fireworks display. However, as they executed their plan, Nazuna Oikawa, one of Norimichis classmates, disclosed her intention to flee home and requested his assistance in doing so. When things took an unexpected turn during their attempt to escape, a mysterious orb that belonged to Nazuna provided them with another opportunity to remain together.
