As preparations begin for Seisho Music Academy's annual festival, the girls from class 99 are preparing to perform their own rendition of "Starlight," a tragic tale about two goddesses drawn together by celestial light but fated never to meet again. This school is designed to cultivate the next generation of theatrical talent and hones the singing, acting, and dancing abilities of its students. One student in particular is Karen Aijou, an easygoing 16-year-old who has dreamt of performing on stage since childhood. Her passion for theater is further fueled by her childhood friend Hikari Kagura's transfer to Seisho Academy. Through their friendship, Karen discovers a hidden elevator leading to a massive theater beneath the school. Hosted by a talking giraffe, this arena serves as a platform where students compete in duels to determine who will be crowned "Top Star," earning them the opportunity to play one of the lead roles in "Starlight." Driven by her commitment to Hikari and their shared dream of becoming stars together, Karen enters these battles with determination.
