On the last day of summer vacation, Kokona Aoba was eagerly anticipating spending some quality time with her mother. However, this plan fell through due to work obligations. Instead, she decided to take a walk down a familiar path where cherished memories awaited at every turn. Later in autumn, Hinata Kuraue and Aoi Yukimura were going through an old scrapbook of their childhood when they stumbled upon an acorn that Aoi had kept as a memento. Although she couldn't recall the significance of it, its discovery triggered a flood of memories from her past. As she reminisced about forgotten events and cherished moments spent with loved ones, Yama no Susume: Omoide Present portrays how these girls hold onto their old memories while creating new ones to treasure forever.
