As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, machines with humanoid features called "Labor" are being utilized in various industries. While these machines have brought numerous benefits, they have also resulted in a new form of crime known as "Labor" crime. To address this issue, the Metropolitan Police Department has established a new department called "Special Vehicle Section No.2." This department is responsible for patrolling with a team of "Labor" known as Patlabor in order to prevent further instances of "Labor" crime from occurring.
