In beach volleyball, there is no place for aces. To win, each player needs to find their one reliable partner on the court. This is what Haruka Oozora discovers on her first day in Okinawa after moving in with her grandmother and cousin Kanata Higa. While exploring a nearby beach, Haruka comes across some girls playing beach volleyball and gets invited to join them. The friendly practice game quickly turns into a match when one of the players notices Kanata approaching the court. Despite suffering a defeat, Haruka realizes that her cousin's quiet and distant behavior is due to his past as an exceptionally talented beach volleyball duo with Narumi Tooi. Now, with the Junior Tournament just weeks away, Haruka must learn about competitive beach volleyball and help Kanata overcome his anxiety towards the sport he once loved.
