Hazuki Kagimura is a young girl who feels socially awkward and has no friends, even with her recent adoption. She finds solace in books that allow her to live out her dreams of friendship and adventure. One day, while returning a book to the library, she sees an old text and follows a familiar girl who appears invisible to everyone except for her. This leads her to a hidden library where she discovers a world she thought only existed in her imagination. In this new world, Hazuki meets Shizuka Tsuchimikado, her first friend, and is chosen by the original print of Cinderella to become an Origin Master. With this newfound power, she enrolls at Kuzunoha Girls Magic Academy to learn how to overcome her fears and create her own amazing story.
